Chris Key - Owner / Builder
Chris grew up in Libertyville, Illinois, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with minors in Environmental Studies and Technology Management from St. Cloud State University. His construction career began in high school with Joel Kennedy Constructing, sparking a passion for heavy civil work that led to roles with Blattner Energy and later as a superintendent back at Joel Kennedy. In 2015, he and his wife Gabby moved to Colorado, where he worked for the City of Greeley’s Water and Sewer Department, volunteered with the LaSalle Fire Department, and later became an Engineer/EMT for a suburban fire department north of Denver. The couple moved to Grand County in 2018, completed their dream mountain home in 2023, and started a business to help others bring their projects to life. Chris enjoys hiking, trail running, camping, biking, skiing, hunting, and archery, serving on the Grand County Archers Association board since 2018.
